As I read the following article on MSN, I had to laugh. Can a family of 4 eat for $100 per week? And she was having problems with that! And there were no teenagers, no hungry friends to feed...Anyone else think it's crazy to spend $250 a week at the store for a family of 4 or is it just me? Am I just that cheap to think that a family of 5 can eat fairly well on $70 per week?

Huh.
I can usually feed 5 of us (2 adults and 3 teen-age boys) for less than $150/week. I don't keep track but it usually runs about $110,more or less, and that includes EVERYTHING, pet food,TP,cleaning supplies as well as the 21 meals and endless snacks for 7 days.
I will say,though, that I know we do not eat enough fresh fruits and vegetables per the diet police directions. (and I reeeally don't care)
